our story

I started sewing when I was a little girl, got my 1st sewing machine for my 16th birthday which a few years later got stored away in my family home I grew up in, although I graduated with an apparel manufacturing degree when I was 9 months pregnant with Kai from FIDM my makeup career took off and everything I learned was forgotten about for years. Then one day my daughter Azella wanted to learn how to sew, somehow I still had the sewing machine I learned on and gave it to her after fine tuning it, I put her in a sewing class watched her make pillows, purses, and even a dress. Which lead me to make the very 1st Day Dreamerz for baby Seven.

 MEET ALana stirdivant

Born and raised in Southern California, the middle child in a first generation Filipino family, I was given one option, can you guess... Nursing School. After 2 years at Cal State Long Beach, influenced by my then boyfriend, now husband’s numerous questions of what I truly wanted to pursue, I dropped out of CSULB and enrolled myself into FIDM while still working at MAC Cosmetics. I always loved the process of seeing a vision come to fruition and was inspired at the idea of creating a company where the fabric was felt from my own hands. Little did I know, my career in makeup would would take off, working for people and companies I never even imagined. 

What started out as a career elevating the beauty of the female face, brought me to today, where I am inspired to elevate the female race. These days, that’s exactly what it feels like, a daily marathon from dusk til dawn. As a Mommy of 4, wife to hubby @kevion, CFO of KASE Real Estate, Founder of DayDreamerz, investor and designer, home school teacher to Azella, personal chef for the family and party planner for all, super EXTRA mom, I am always brought back to one thing: inspired design. 

At the end of the day my mission is simple. To be an example that when you follow your heart, you’ll always be fueled to go further, laugh longer and love forever.
